Location: New Milton, Hampshire Service Type: 24-bed Elderly Residential & Dementia Care Home Hours: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: Immediate About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Residential Care Home Manager to lead a well-established 24-bed elderly residential care home specialising in dementia care, based in New Milton, Hampshire. The successful candidate will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care in line with CQC regulations and best practice. Key Responsibilities Overall operational management of the care home Ensure high standards of elderly and dementia care are consistently delivered Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team, including recruitment, supervision, appraisals, and training Maintain full compliance with CQC, health & safety, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements Manage care planning, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes Develop positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external stakeholders Manage budgets, staffing levels, rotas, and occupancy Investigate and respond appropriately to complaints, incidents, and safeguarding concerns Drive continuous improvement and prepare for inspections Skills & Experience Required Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within an elderly residential or dementia care setting Strong working knowledge of CQC regulations and inspection frameworks Proven leadership and people-management skills Excellent communication and organisational abilities Ability to manage compliance, staffing, and operational priorities effectively Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards) essential Strong understanding of person-centred dementia care What We Offer Competitive salary (dependent on experience) Supportive ownership and senior management Stable, established service with a committed staff team Immediate start available Opportunity to make a real impact and lead a high-quality home
